Problems & Solutions

Negative Side Waterproofing- Negative side waterproofing is generally required as a remedial fixup and sometimes as a preventative waterproofing. The negative side is the side that is not in direct contact with the water or moisture. Thus when waterproofing on the negative side the walls or floor substrate may be permanently wet. There are three types of waterproofing products available for Negative Waterproofing Cement Based (Eg. Drizoro Maxseal Flex), Hydroepoxies (Eg Ardex WPM300 or WPM368) or Penetrating Inorganic Polymers (Eg Evo Seal and Evo Block Seal). Each product has distinct advantages depending on requirements and problems.
